Have you ever wondered where to go for that ultimate chocolate gift or treat? Or where to order bulk handmade chocolate goodies for a major event? If you’re in Sydney, you’re in luck.
Based in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs, Anjinho caters all manner of chocolate delights to the discerning chocolate lover. “Anjinho” is the Portuguese term for “little angel”, a fitting description for the sensory assault on your taste buds when these sweet offerings melt slowly in your mouth. Run by Carlos and his wife, Lisa, only natural ingredients and flavours are used in the chocolate making process.
To Carlos, a trained cordon bleu chef, chocolate making isn’t just about producing tempting morsels, it’s also an art form. In his kitchen “studio”, he loves to create edible sculptures that fuse the visual with taste and texture. Here are images of some of his latest creations:
A talking piece at your next dinner party:
Aside from chocolate art, Anjinho also has traditional offerings of various chocolate bars and individual chocolate temptations packaged in various boxed sizes.
Anjinho also supplies specialised cakes and bulk sweet pastries but you willl need to check with Carlos about availability.
Having sampled many of Anjinho's goodies over the last three years, I can truly say that this place is one gastronomical heaven. Did I also mention that everything is low in fats, sugar and calories........
