No chocolate in the cupboard? Only cocoa powder? No problem! Cocoa powder is an incredibly versatile pantry staple for chocolate lovers everywhere. And Cadbury's cocoa is up there with the best tasting/ affordable cocoa powder.

Cadbury Bournville cocoa comes in 250g boxes and smaller 125g boxes, and can be purchased in most supermarkets. But beware - sometime's the cocoa section is hidden in the cooking aisle, sometime's it's waiting for you in the milk powder/drinks section (usually near the condensed milk!). Cocoa can be elusive but, once you find it, it can add depth and deliciousness to your kitchen!



Cadbury Bournville cocoa was originally made to create a nutritious and warm beverage during bitterly cold and freezing English winters. The cocoa is specially blended with a range of secret spices to make sure it always delivers a tasty, consistent chocolatey flavour.



Cadbury Bournville Cocoa is perfect for making hot chocolate as well as baking. Brownies, cakes, cupcakes... just a few delicious treats that cocoa can be used to create. The packets even come with recipes on the back to inspire you in the kitchen!

Make sure to sift the cocoa when adding it to the dry ingredients for best results, and store it in a dry airtight container to hold in its flavour and freshness.

Cadbury cocoa is powder usually provides a consistent flavour and texture - a sign of its quality - so you can rely on it when cooking to add a scrumptious chocolate flavour to your hot chocolate or recipes.

To make hot chocolate - blend 3 tablespoons cocoa powder with 1/4 cup sugar in a small bowl. In a saucepan, heat 4 cups milk until scalding. Mix a small amount of the milk to the cocoa mixture, enough to create a paste, then pour the cocoa mixture into the hot milk and stir until smooth. Stir through 1/4 teaspoon vanilla. Pour into some mugs. Serve with mini marshmellows in each cup!
