If you are looking for something smooth, rich, delicious and easy, then this chocolate and marshmallow mousse is a must have.
150gr mini marshmallow
50gr butter at room temperature
250gr dark chocolate, chopped
300ml thickened cream
Place marshmallows, butter, chocolate and water in a pot and place on stove at low heat. (chocolate melts quicker than marshmallow, leaving it on low heat takes longer however, it will avoid burning the chocolate.
Stir constantly that way all ingredients blend together.
When all ingredients have melted take pot off stove and put to the side to cool while you whip the cream.
Place cream in a bowl.
Whip cream until peaks form.
Fold cream into chocolate mixture until well combined.
Place mixture into glasses and put in to the fridge for at least two hours.
How you serve your mousse is up to you. Whether it be ice cream, more whipped cream, strawberries or your favourite fruit drizzled with more chocolate, this is a really lovely dessert.
