Organic heirloom cocoa beans are shipped from the grower in Madagascar to Cicada's Chocolate factory in Australia to be processed right here in Australia. Chocolate is made and packaged here to be sold locally.
This time we sampled the dark chocolate. We were so impressed, we'll have to be back for more.
All that care and attention in production has lead to a creamy chocolate with a silky mouth feel, there is no need to chew this chocolate because it melts deliciously in the mouth and coats the roof of the mouth for a delicious, long lasting sensation. The flavour is at first that of dark chocolate, then fruity undertones come into play.
This is a mature chocolate with a delicately delicious nature as one would expect from a quality artisan chocolate.
