Dairy Milk Cookie Nut Crunch

Recently, Cadbury has developed a new range of Dairy Milk chocolate bars called Marvellous Creations. The packaging design is fun, playful, and reminiscent of a carnival. Many of these flavours are filled with sweets, such as Cola Pretzel Honeycomb and Jelly Popping Candy Shells. These are going to be particularly appealing with kids, but their third creation, Cookie Nut Crunch, will have wider adult appeal.



Although the bar looks like it is going to be in the same style as their traditional Dairy Milk squares, Cadbury has had some fun with the design, turning the cubes into wiggly shapes, and adding animal prints.



Taste-wise you will not be disappointed. Although the name makes it sounds the Galaxy Cookie Crumble, that is where the similarity ends. First you experience the standard (but much loved) creamy Dairy Milk flavours, which is given extra crunch due to the cookie pieces and bits of almond. If you are looking for a point of comparison, I think it tastes a merging of Dairy Milk's Fruit & Nut along with their Caramel bar. The difference here is that the raisins are replaced by chocolate biscuit, and the caramel is crunchy rather than gooey.

I was dubious at first about this new range, but the the Cookie Nut Crunch gets a big thumbs up.
