Since my very first taste of a flaked Belgian truffle many years ago, they became my firm favourite in the chocolate world.
My eyes lit up when I saw this box of Marks and Spencer Belgian Flaked Truffles hidden inside some Christmas wrapping paper.
On the front of the box, they are described as indulgent, and I think decadent is a more appropriate word.
Made with 30% cocoa mass and lots of cocoa butter, these truffles melt in the mouth the moment they touch your tongue.
Despite this, they are not a warm chocolate, but in fact quite cooling. This makes them very refreshing, and not in the least bit sickly.
