Thorntons (5)      Caramel (30)      Chocolate Batons (1)

Thorntons, chocolate, today I thought of you

Thinking of anyone special today? Is someone's birthday coming up? Just want to say thanks? Thorntons Today I Thought of You range come in both 80g (3.99) and 165g (6.99) boxes. All the chocolates inside are the same, but each box comes with a different message on the front.

The day I bought this box of sixteen batons, however, the only person I was thinking about was me. Within two days, this ego-centric treat was empty.

Thorntons, chocolate, today I thought of you

Despite their deliciousness, I do have one main quibble, and that is that they all taste pretty much the same. There are meant to be eight flavours, but the difference in taste is very subtle, and without reading the names, you wouldn't be able to tell them apart. The flavours include salted caramel, melty caramel, melty chocolate, totally nuts, fruity nutcase, tempting toffee, honeycomb crunch, and nutty nougatine.

Basically, they all tasted like caramel. Some of the batons had a bit of added texture with the raisins and honeycomb pieces, but they suddenly changed this box to just one flavour, I doubt I'd notice. But like I said, they taste delicious all the same, and are a good way to just stay in contact with a friend.
