Now available in most major supermarkets in Australia, Toffee Apple M&Ms.
One of the most recent releases of quirky flavored M&Ms in Australia - Toffee Apple.
Just in time for Autumn, they come in a 200 gram bag (in theory to be shared, but they don't last long!) Rumour has it these are also a limited edition (although the package doesn't indicate it.) Perhaps they're trialling the market?
These are a bit tricky to describe as they really do have a strong apple taste to them and despite the fact that you can actually see the chocolate centres, they taste very little like chocolate. The apple certainly comes through as does the caramel taste.
If you're keen for something a bit different that reminds you of the toffee apples you may have enjoyed as a child, these will certainly be for you. If you're a lover of chocolate that's on the less sweet scale, these may be a little too sweet for you.
With a smaller variety of 'apple' colours, the bag includes only pink, red and green coloured candies.
Red, pink and green are the only colours you'll find in this bag.
You'll find them on the shelves of most major grocery shops in Australia. I picked these up at Coles. They retail roughly between $3.50-$4.00 per bag.
