Charbonel et Walker Champagne Truffles

Champagne and chocolate works together so well, and nowhere displays this better than the Charbonel et Walker milk chocolate truffles I bought in London.



I found these little beauties in Liberty - the luxe store - and paid £6.00 for six champagne bites of heaven.

The champagne truffles are made from the finest ingredients. Butter is folded into melted milk chocolate and alcohol is added such as decadent Marc de Champagne. The mixture is whisked to form a thick ganache and the truffles are then surrounded by a coating of fine chocolate and are lightly dusted in icing sugar.

They are sumptutiously sized, and fantastically flavoured chocolates by the English chocolatiers. They taste as good as they look and make the perfect gift, or treat for yourself!

Charbonel et Walker is a British brand, and all of their chocolates are handmade in the UK. They began crafting exceptional bites of chocolate in 1875, so they're pretty experienced in making chocolate worth buying.
