Duke of Delhi Milk Chocolate and Indian Cinnamon Bar

Duke of Delhi produce some fine chocolate. I discovered them at the Food Expo which came to Birmingham.



I was sceptical of cinnamon and Indian flavours in a chocolate bar, but I was well and truly won over when I took the first bite. It has unexpected 'crunchy bits', which give it amazing texture and add to the whole experience.



On the website is a lovely anecdote:

"Every time I think of cinnamon, it brings back memories of growing up, when our mum used to add it to our warm milk to give it that lovely flavour. The finest milk chocolate is given a delicate twist with the very best Indian cinnamon and spoonfuls of crunchy pieces of the signature Duke of Delhi mix."



Whether you have personal associations with cinnamon or not, this bar is very, very good. Priced at £4.00 a bar, it's well worth the investment.

With 34% cacao this 80g bar is a luxurious one.
