Lindt Chocolate Cafes
The maitre at Lindt Martin Place handing out some fresh chocolate tastings
Lindt (otherwise known as Lindt & Sprungli) is a chocolatier founded in Switzerland that manufactures and sells a variety of different chocolate treats. The concept has been a raving success, and to the point that Lindt have their own chocolate cafes in Australia and Japan. Additionally, there are some Lindt products you can buy in supermarkets, however, the majority of Lindt chocolate products can only be purchased at their chocolate cafes.
Easter Bunny
If you fancy a Lindt hot chocolate, or a Lindt Chocolate Milkshake - then welcome yourself inside one of eight in Australia. In Sydney, their flagship store is based in Martin Place in the city. In Sydney, Lindt also have a chocolate cafe at Darling Harbour's Cockle Bay Wharf. The latter space was created in time for the Sydney Olympic Games in the year 2000. There is another Lindt Chocolate Cafe on George Street, right opposite McDonald's on the Corner of George and Bridge Streets. This leaves one more Lindt Chocolate Cafe in Sydney. That's right it is located in the suburbs - in the Sutherland Shire at Westfield Miranda.
Some delicious cakes
In Melbourne, the flagship Lindt Chocolate Cafe is located at Collins Street - right off Elizabeth Street. There is another Lindt Chocolate Cafe in fashionable Chadstone Shopping Centre, as well as on Chapel Street in South Yarra. This leaves one final Lindt Chocolate Cafe that opened up on Melbourne's Southbank (along the Yarra) in 2011. There are six in Japan, and surprisingly, there will be three more opening up in Sydney further on down the track in 2014.
Great Lindt chocolate
At their Martin Place store, I recently got the opportunity to try their new Hazelnut Easter Bunny product for easter. Like the Milk Chocolate Easter Bunny that comes with a red bow. The Hazelnut one comes in a green bow. This product was launched into the market place this week, as at the time of writing this.
Additionally, there is a full-time maitre named Tuarn who works at their Martin Place store. He is a professional chef by trade, and enjoys working with chocolate. You can see him live by pot luck cooking, tempering and preparing some beautiful Lindt chocolate treats. It is a real treat (no pun intended) to watch. If you're lucky, you might get to enjoy some beautiful samples.

Their drinks are also fantastic. Chocolate lovers will unite and enjoy. Their chocolate milkshakes are rather filling, and they do come in a diverse range of Lindt chocolate flavours such as Cherry Intense. A diverse range of Lindor balls are also available for purchase at their chocolate cafes.
