Lindt HELLO My Name is Crunchy Nougat
If you're a fan of the Cadburys crunchy bar, you'll undoubtedly like this. The Lindt crunchy nougat bar is like a Cadburys crunchy, but better: it's the polished, Swiss cousin of what you know, with a sleeker wrapper and even more impressive taste.
The wrapping is only some of the attraction; Lindt have gone all out to try and avoid any comparisons with the more well known bar. Looks-wise I'd easily pick this over a regular crunchy. It is packaged oh so beautifully, in a dark wrapper connoting an adult quality to this bar. Bright blue writing draws the eye and there's no gold foil in sight.
Inside the bar is shaped like the other HELLO bars; 12 squares of Lindt milk chocolate, all smooth and familiar, but with this bar you'll find a crunchy honeycomb filling.
I'm unsure as to why they've called it a crunchy nougat bar because it's honeycomb, but never mind.
CaThere is a significant difference between honeycomb chocolate bars and this however. It has a chewier quality, which is why I guess they stated crunchy nougat. Nonetheless it is not the white nougat you might be thinking of, but the golden honeycomb of which it resembles.
I'm not a huge fan of honeycomb, but this chocolate bar was a gift from a friend, so understandably, I had to try it.
Other people like crunchy bars, and generally the combination of honeycomb and chocolate, but this was my least favourite of the HELLO bars I've tried.
Nonetheless, it was still very enjoyable, however I was more inclined to share this bar. My nephew absolutely loved this chocolate bar. He likes all chocolate, if I'm honest, but he loved the crunchy middle. The honeycomb tends to stick your teeth, which I wasn't too keen on, but my nephew enjoyed it.
The crunchy nature of the bar makes ut easy to share, and a yummy topping to custard.
Priced at the same £1.99 cost as the other Hello bars, it's a small price to pay for the joy it brings others.
Happy crunching.
