Magnum Chocolate Truffle Ice Cream

I don't normally like chocolate ice cream, at least not the stuff you buy in a tub anyway. It has never tickled my fancy unlike vanilla chocolate which has pieces of chocolate or fudge, or fruit mixed with it.



Magnum, ice cream makers, however, have managed to twist my arm. I do like their ice cream, and when their new chocolate truffle ice cream (on a stick), was released this spring, I couldn't help giving in to the Magnum Chocolate Truffle



Magnum describe the chocolate as:

"Smooth chocolate truffle sauce swirled through deliciously creamy chocolate ice-cream and coated in a layer of thick cracking Magnum chocolate made with real Belgian chocolate."

It is pretty accurate, the chocolate truffle sauce is smooth, creamy and encased in a thick Magnum milk chocolate. It's quite wonderful.
