White Chocolate Clif Bar

Clif bars are the low-sugar, high protein, yet indulgent snack bars, which have recently come to the UK.

I bought this white chocolate and macadamia nut bar from Tesco for £1.80, and whilst it is more expensive that what id usually be willing to pay for a snack bar, my curiosity, as per usual got the better of me.



These bars are huge in the states; there's a major following of Clif bars, so naturally, my hopes were high. Thankfully this bar was worth the hype - the white chocolate coating was wonderful.

Although a low- sugar bar, it was still an indulgent snack. Instead of a rather plain 'healthy' treat, the Clif bar was tasty and filling. I wasn't particularly hungry (just in the mood for something sweet), but I was certainly full after enjoying the tasty bar.

The oat-based bar has a grainy texture, and spears to be dipped in white chocolate. Either way the delicious bar was studded with macadamias, which made for a textured surprise.

This particular flavour is ideal for those who might be would like to enjoy a sweet treat, without a conscience.
