When going to a dinner party it is customary to bring a bottle of wine or bunch of flowers to say thank to the host for the invitation. If you are looking for an alternative, Montezumas are a good choice because they come pre-gift wrapped, and are especially designed as an after dinner treat.

Retailing at £6.49, these thin discs are an excellent end to a meal, and go well with a cup of coffee. On the other hand, if you buy their Coffee & Walnut bag then you can skip the drink all together. The 73% dark chocolate has a definite fruity note, specifically sour cherry, which goes very well with the strong bitter coffee and earthy walnut flavours by adding a contrast, which stops the chocolate bing overpowering.

Lime & Vanilla is a 34% milk chocolate thin infused with lime oil and vanilla extract. These two flavours are a match made in heaven.

With the Butterscotch & Hazelnut, the mellowness of the creamy 34% milk chocolate is countered by an almost salty taste. I think this comes from the molasses, which provides deep rich flavours.
