Hazelnut and Cream Chocolate sauce

Chocolate sauce, drizzled on top of ice cream, over a waffles, pancakes, fruit, it's a favourite in our house. You can imagine the joy, when I spotted a new, organic, chocolate sauce in Wholefoods then, on offer for £1.80 for a large tube.



Pralus is a French brand, who specialise in exceptional French chocolate. Whilst their bars are famous in the chocolate world, it's the hazelnut cream sauce, which hooked me right in.

Firstly, the packaging is deceptive. The sauce is not as thick as it looks, but it does stick to the roof of your mouth, which is a delight.

Spread on toast it makes a wonderfully indulgent breakfast, or added to a milkshake it gives it a better chocolatey-nut taste, than Nutella.
