Alter Eco Dark Velvet Organic Chocolate

There was an episode of M*A*S*H where Colonel Potter describes the expensive single malt he is drinking by saying "there are not enough 'o's in 'smooth' to describe this." He could just has well have been talking about this chocolate. Dark velvet is the perfect name for it. It has a smooth (or should that be "smoooooth") velvety texture that melts in the mouth.

At 47% cocoa Dark Velvet is not the darkest of dark chocolate out there, making it a good choice for people who like a little more cocoa than ordinary milk chocolate but don't want their chocolate too bitter. It contains just a touch of milk.

Like all Alter Eco foods it is fair trade and organic. The cocoa is grown in Peru and made into chocolate in Switzerland. In Australia Dark Velvet can be purchased at Oxfam shops or online.
