Dairy Milk Puddles

Posted 2015-04-29 by Bastion Harrisonfollow

Cadbury's have been coming up with quite a few new inventions for their Dairy Milk bars over the last few years, and the latest in the line up is .

Deviating from their usual square block style, this 90g bar has a playful design in which the chocolate looks like puddles are rippling on the surface.

But what exactly is underneath these puddles? Well that depends on which version you buy. There are currently two options: mint or hazelnut. Not being keen on mint chocolate, I chose the latter.

As the name suggests, the filling inside is not a solid mass, but a lovely gooey liquid. Despite this, the bar is easy to break apart, and even when the 'puddle' is broken in half, there are no messy spillages, meaning it is safe to eat in public without causing oneself embarrassment.

At first the filling does not have a particular flavour, but after a moment, a strong nutty taste comes through, which is pleasantly smooth and not too sickly either.
