Demarquette NutKeepers Harvest

Although under the 'caramel' heading on the website, Nutkeeper's Harvest is actually a selection four different flavoured pralines. Among these, two won the Great Taste Award 2011.

For their American Pecan & Maple, I can clearly see why. If you like scotch pancakes drizzled with syrup, then this praline will be right up your alley.

The other award winner was the Kentish Cobnut. A nut introduced in the 1830s, I found the creamy flavour of the nut combined with the creamy texture of the praline too much for me.

It was a similar case with the Provincial Almond. I like that they placed a whole almond inside, and surrounded it with a praline filling, but I found the praline too sweet, and it reminded me of marzipan. If you like marzipan, then you will enjoy it.

One of the most distinctive flavoured nuts, I find it pistachio, which you will find encased in a 71.1% dark chocolate shell. Given a thorough roasting, it has delicious earthy tastes.
