Demarquette Special Edition Chocolate Bars

Demarquette have recently created a new line of 22g chocolate bars priced at £1.50 each. These special edition bars range between 70% - 100% caco for deep flavours.



22g may not sound like a lot, but just one small line of squares gives you the adequate boost required. The bars I tried were the Catongo 75% Brazil and XocoNusco 70% Mexico .

The Catongo is from a single crop Forastero bean, meaning it is the rarest and highest quality of cacao. It has a slightly bitter taste, but also a subtle hinto of sour berries.



My favourite was the XocoNusco. It also has berry notes, but is slightly less bitter.
