Hotel Chocolat Carrot Cake

As a Hotel Chocolat Tasting Club Member, I was offered their annual 'Summer Desserts' box, which contains thirty summery themed chocolates. As there were only a few on the menu that I was interested in, however, I decided that instead of buying a big box, I would go into their shop and see if they had any of the individual recipes available in their Selector range.



Lucky for me they had the one I most wanted to try. Carrot Cake. Not what you would usually expect from a chocolate, huh? It make sound unusual, but it also tasted of perfection.

Inside a milk chocolate shell and white chocolate lid, you will discover a creamy ganache made with real carrots. The truffle tasted so much like carrot cake that I almost forgot I was eating chocolate. This is one their best yet, and I hope it sticks around.

They are available in packs of six for £3.75 or £3.15 for three.
