Lindor Caramel

When in the supermarket the other day, I saw boxes of Lindt's Lindor truffles on special offer. I love Lindor , but the question was which box to choose. The answer became clear when I saw because I have never tried this version before.



The presentation is beautiful as always, but the gold wrappers are similar to the white truffles, which could cause some initial confusion.



As this was caramel, I was expecting a gooey filling, but instead it was a caramel flavoured ganache. I should have known better, as their silk smooth ganache is the signature recipe that makes Lindor so great.

Lindor lived up to its reputation, and produced a divine sweet milk chocolate truffle, with light caramel notes. It is much better than caramel ganaches from other brands I have tasted, and I highly recommend these melt in the mouth delights.
