Lindor Strawberries Cream

Most chocolate companies bring out seasonal limited edition treats; these are usually around Christmas and Easter. Lindt is no different, but they have also found another occasion to celebrate, and have brought out their limited edition Lindor Strawberries & Cream. Can you guess what it is in honour of?



Wimbledon. Yes, Wimbledon Tennis has long been associated with the summer delight of strawberries and cream, although I must admit I have never seen anyone in the crowd consuming a bowl. Much more likely they will be dipping their fingers into Lindt's box of Lindor truffles.



Made with white chocolate, strawberry powder, and cream, the strawberry flavour is prominent, but slightly synthetic, as it is so sweet. The creamy ganache filling, however, is divine, especially on a hot day, when the chocolate has softened, and so melts in the mouth much more rapidly.
