Marvellous Creations Banana Caramel Crisp

I recently found out that Cadbury's has expanded its range of Marvellous Creations with a new product called Banana Caramel Crisp.

With my eyes hooked to the word 'Caramel' more than anything else, I was expecting a gooey delight to banana flavoured caramel.



'Caramel' was rather a deceptive addition to the title, however. I should have been paying more attention to the picture, as what you get dotted inside the milk chocolate is hard shell candy.

If you like candy, then you'll probably like this bar, but coming from the perspective of someone who loathes that I stuff, I was pretty disappointed. The banana flavour tasted artificial, and on close inspection of the ingredients, but suspicions were confirmed, as the yellow fruit was nowhere on the list. Instead it stated 'flavourings'.

I can't say I am at all surprised, given that this is a hight street product, but I had probably set my expectations too high on what I was going to get.
