White Chocolate Panna Cotta with Caramelised Fig Dominoes Pizza

I had no idea what a panna cotta was until my husband brought this home. I was jonesing for a Chocolate Lava Cake (doesn't that sound awesome?!) but we were in a hurry and he didn't have time to wait for them to heat one up for me so he bought me this instead. It was still a chocolatey dessert thing so far be it from me to complain.

Actually it wasn't very chocolatey, though it apparently contained 12% Belgian white chocolate. I found it a little bland until I stuck my spoon right through into the fig coulis underneath, which was an intense flavour explosion. Yes, you heard me right. Caramel (well, caramelised fig) actually made something better. It was deliciously rich, reminiscent of sticky date pudding.

White chocolate panna cotta is one of several desserts now available at Dominoes Pizza. We live in a world where you can phone up and have someone bring chocolate fudge brownies or Chocolate Lava Cake to your house. Life truly is beautiful.
