Kingdom Chocolate Bars Pt 2

Earlier I wrote a review of the Kingdom company's flavoured chocolate bars. Since then they have added new bars to the range, which I bought from their big brother shop, Montezumas.
There were four new bars, of which I tried three. These include Milk Banana, Dark Cherry, and Dark Pistachio.



What I like about these bars is the unique flavoured filling. When you think about a filling, you usually assume it will be a praline or a ganache, which it what I expected when I broke into the Milk Banana.

For that reason, I thought it was going to be overly sweet and sickly, but it was not. The bar was not filled with a ganache, but rather a slightly softer version of the solid milk chocolate coating. This mean that you got a glorious full chunk of chocolate to bite into. The banana worked perfectly with this bar, not too subtle or too overpowering.

The fruit flavour of the Dark Cherry is a bit more subtle, and yo get more of the bitter notes from the dark chocolate.



The bitterness of the dark chocolate in the pistachio bar is counteracted by the sweet nutty flavour, and has an attractive inner filling. All three successful get the balance of chocolate and filling flavour just right, and are worth trying.
